5 Stellar Games From February’s Line-Up

With only 28 days to the month, February is certainly short.

However, this does not by any mean imply that there is a shortage of things to do or for that matter, games to play! With the line-up of video games set to debut over the course of this month, time will surely seem in short supply. Here are five upcoming games of February 2017 that every gamer must check out!

It is safe to say that Nioh is one of this year’s most awaited games. This dark game takes place in a post-apocalyptic and demonic world. This strange version of Japan is decked with samurais, ninjas and of course mythological creatures. Play as William, a confused character from the West, who is thrown into the centre of conflicts in a foreign land. A mix of a role-playing game and a slasher film, Nioh is expected to be full of intense combat scenes that will keep any player engaged.

For Honor

Released on Valentine’s Day, For Honor is a multi-player combat game that is set in a medieval world. Choose from being a Viking, knight or a samurai and then arm yourself with a weapon of choice before you hit the battlefield. This fast and brutal game will let you run rampant while you fight other players. Though the game does feature a mode for a single player, the intensity of the multiplayer mode makes this a great game. Take part in four-on-four matches, collect souvenirs and plan strategic attacks to bring down other players.

Halo Wars 2

Expected to take the strategy gaming world by storm, Halo Wars 2 is re-aligning the multiplayer mode of the game to focus more on card-based strategies and deck building. The strategy game has a new character by the name of Atriox who plays the villain of the single-player mode.  Together with his group of mercenaries who are known as The Banished, Atriox plans to capture control of the galaxy’s most powerful weapon. Packed with vehicles, weapons and tons of characters, Halo Wars 2 is a game you will definitely want to play.

Horizon Zero Dawn

Horizon Zero Dawn is a role-playing video game that blends together the gameplay of a hunter-gatherer world that is filled with post-apocalyptic robots. Set in third-person, the game has you battling massive dinosaur-like robots that roam across the open plains. With some cool weaponry to boot and some eye-catching graphics, this is sure to be an interesting game to play!

Torment: Tides of Numenera

Releasing on a number of platforms including Windows PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4, Torment: Tides of Numenera is taking role-playing games to the next level. Set in Numenera, the game is riddled with difficult decisions, murky mysteries and a solid back story. Explore the lands as the story unfolds with the Last Castoff as the character you control. Collect clues from drunken characters that will open portals and unveil intense memories. With an in-depth storyline, beautiful graphics and lots to uncover, Torment is sure to be a game that will keep you hooked.
