7 Tips To Click Good Pictures From Your Smart Phones

How many of you agree with me, when I say that the beautiful world of ours is captured in our small digitally personified HD mobile screens. This is entirely true in case of the millennial generation who are extremely snappy and creative. They talk in the language of pictures and sharing them on social media is how they choose to talk. They believe in instant and hence the role of mobiles in their lives is imperative.
Here are 7 smart tips for the millennial to click some awesome quality pictures from your mobiles.

Correct Position

Oh yes, this is super important. Not just the position of the smart phone but where you position yourself while clicking a pictures matters. If the focus is correct and you can view the object to be clicked clearly, then snap away.

 Adjust the Default Settings

Many of us are okay with the default camera settings of the smartphone. These may give good results at times but to get good pictures on all occasions, take some time out and understand the features of the inbuilt camera. Adjust the levels of white balance, brightness, contrast etc. to get a good output.

Browse the App Store

There is no hard and fast rule that one must use only the in built camera in the smartphone. The wise thing to do is to brose the app store and download the high rated camera apps. These may actually surprise you with the high level of features and picture quality. Camera Zoom FX in android, Camera, ProCamear for iOS and Nokia Camera for Windows are a must try.

Don’t Zoom

Whenever we see something beautiful far away or want to capture the minute details, we tend to use the zoom option. Our advice, don’t. When we pinch the smartphone screen to zoom, we are not really magnifying the object of focus. We are actually pre cropping the picture and that ultimately results in bad quality.

Say yes to natural lighting and no to Flash

When we are in a dark setting or in an area where the light is dipping, we switch on the flash mode of the camera to get a good picture. This may not always be a good option because the resultant image can be grainy. The ideal thing is to rely on natural lighting.

Why always filter when you can edit?

We understand that it is the Instagram generation and everyone loves clicking pictures and sharing them. But where is the novelty in using the same filters that the entire world uses? Instead, download editing software’s and use them to give your clicks that extra edge before you share them. SnapSeed and Photoshop Express are two options to explore.

Take care of the lens

No matter how much you try and experiment, if the camera lens is not clean then the pictures will turn out to be dull and hazy. Use a soft cloth once in a while to keep the lens clean and you will definitely get good clicks out of the smartphone.
