A Dash Of Class & Chill With The New Fizzics Waytap

House parties with 6-packs and cartons of bottled beer are a norm for the 20-something city-dwellers with a busy schedule. You can go ahead and tilt the glass as you pour yourself a generous drink, but how often does it actually taste different? When was the last time you had a bottled beer that gives the authentic craft beer experience that comes from a tap drink? The new Fizzics Waytap dispenser promises just that! It uses a sound wave technology that uses the carbonation in your drink to create the perfect foam to liquid ratio for a craft beer experience.

Fizzics

A Kickstarter campaign that gained widespread popularity owing to the promises its makers made, the upgraded version of the earlier (bulkier) Fizzics is one to watch out for. The lightweight device does not require any nitro or carbon-dioxide canisters. It simply uses the carbonation in your drink to make it a whole lot better. The main action seems to come from the fluid and sound technology it uses. Called Micro-Foam, using it will infuse your beverage with uniform bubbles for the foam that adds a delicious creamy texture. It does not discriminate either. IPAs or Stout, Lager or even Porters, the device is compatible with a wide range of sizes in cans and bottles.

Now, though the device is known to make the beer taste more like it came out of a tap, this is done by masking the bitterness of the beverage and making it smoother. Beer pundits would argue that this might also mask the uniqueness of the drink.

The maker’s claim of Fizzics Waytap improving the taste and aroma has found some ground as the users have reacted in the positive. Another huge plus is the portability and easy usability of the battery operated device. All it requires is 4 AA batteries and you’re good to go! It also has an antimicrobial mat that can be easily detached and cleaned. As for the device itself, simply place water inside as opposed to beer and hose is thoroughly cleaned. While it is definitely easy to use, the very look of the Waytap too is a significant improvement from its predecessor. The upgrade looks less like a coffee maker and more like something that would add a dash of class to the way you consume your 6-pack. The makers have teamed up with the creators at Frog Design for the new upgrade. Apart from the darker hues, it also comes in a classy white, for a chic look as it
rests on the bar counter, or even in the kitchen!

For the ones looking to up the ante of their parties or simply an evening with some delicious creamy cold beer, the Fizzics Waytap might just do the job! It retails at about Rs. 11,000 on Amazon.
