Amkette, been launching various sleek looking mobile gadgets, right from 2012 in with the Amkette Evo TV, which was efficient. The company has also launched a number of wired and wireless headphones, plus a Bluetooth speaker. Now, it’s announced the Amkette Evo Gamepad Pro, a Bluetooth gamepad for use with Android devices, available at Rs. 2,799.

Just like Amkette’s other gadgets, the Evo Gamepad Pro looks good. The layout of the buttons, and its analog sticks has strong resemblance to the design of the Xbox 360 gamepad.

The middle section can be opened to serve as a stand for your Android phone. When you will lift the flap it will uncover reveals the battery light, plus the two indicators for the Bluetooth mode and the Micro-USB port to charge the battery. The full charged battery will last you for good 5 days even with 8 hours of gaming each day.

On the side of the game pad you will find small grooves that will help you to have a god grip for long sessions of game playing. The one concern you will have with the design is that the clip for our phone might not always lock in properly, which can be annoying.

To set it up, all you need to do is to switch it on and keep the home button pressed for the pairing to happen. To make it easier, you should download the Amkette Evo Gamepad Pro app from Google Play; start the app and it provides you with a guide to show all the buttons and its functions. The app will also suggest games that are well-matched with the Evo Gamepad Pro, so you can find and install games easily.

Also if after the purchases of Evo Gamepad, you find compatibility issues, Amkette will provide an update to fix the issue. So our advice is in case you buy a piece that has issues do contact Amkette immediately.

The design and build quality awesome in the given price. Plus if it tunes in well with your Android device, then this a neat gamepad.

Whether you are aiming to experience old school creations, or play some of the state-of-the-art Android games that encourage controllers, there are awesome experiences in store for you. As gamepads become a regular and affordable accessory we are anticipating that Android gaming will flourish.
