If you are one of those people who enjoys making lists as much as we do, the Any.do productivity app is one you must check out right away. This app is also a great way to keep track of your goals and make to-do lists.

The stunning interface is clean and minimalistic which is great for a clutter-free work-platform. This app is not only for keeping track of your day to day tasks, it can also be used as a way to organize your life better and become overall more productive.

While this is great as a personal app or for families to use, a small business will probably need a more sturdy system. Both well designed and technically advanced the Any.do app integrates the use of touch gesturing. There are numerous features that you would expect in any to-do application, such as date and time reminders and categories to divide your tasks or projects.

Any.do Moment is a recurring reminder that tells you each of your tasks for the day at a set time. When a task pops-up, you can choose from the four options displayed namely Later, Today, Delete and Done. According to your selection there are several other suggestions that will also show up. If you choose the option ‘Later’, you will then have to decide whether you will complete the task in the next couple of days, the next week or a more ambiguous ‘Someday’. This is a good way to make sure that you actually finish the tasks at hand.

This app helps you to work on your time management and actually take into account a task before automatically snoozing it as we do with most to-do lists. You can divide your lists into separate categories like Personal, Goals, Works and others. A task can even be attached to a note and document, and shared with someone who you would perhaps like to keep updated or share the task with.

Any.do also features a type suggestion option that assists you in entering a new task or goal easily. For example if you type the word ‘call’, Any.do will bring up a number of name suggestions of people you might like to call.

A location based reminder allows you to set yourself a note reminding you of a task when you’re either leaving or arriving somewhere. For this feature however you must either know the exact address or find the location on Apple Maps.

This app is available across the Android, iOS and Web platform too, free of cost. There is also a Pro version that can be purchased, however there are only a few differences between the two versions. First is that the free app does not allow users to share more than one task at a time and second is that the location-based reminder feature is missing.

Mobile Upgrades: Killing The Product Before Its Time?

Have to agree. The speed of newer phone models within the same series and newer app versions lead to more thought put into buying decisions. Phone lines have a definite short shelf life

Lionel Gurjao

Frequently upgrading the software is a real problem as updating the software might cause your phone to lag because of the older hardware.

Shivendra Singh

They should come out with upgrades for the specific phones and not for the separate Operating System. This way a special version for your phones specific hardware can be made
