Apps To Help You Throw A Rocking Party

Throwing a party is often an infuriating experience, with various lists and tasks that need to be completed to ensure the party goes off successfully and without any glitches. Refreshments, guests, venues and other logistical details need to be considered before envisioning a well-planned party. Believe it or not, various applications on our smartphones can assist in this task and ensure that users are on top of all the tasks which are needed to be completed.

Pro Party Planner

1

Pro Party Planner is one of the most useful and popular applications to help users organize a party. It covers all aspects of the planning. Import guest lists, delegate tasks, set reminders, sync across multiple users and Facetime them from within the app. A timeline option even lets you see exactly what needs to happen in real time. These are just few of the features available to the user of this application. The app is best used for planning big parties but can be used to plan anything, big or small as well.

PitchIn

2

PitchIn is an application that helps especially when a lot of people have to come together to plan a party. It helps to avoid chaos and complete confusion when various people come together to work on organizing a party. It can be nearly impossible to get busy people to step up and help, even if they’re your friends.

PitchIn makes it easy to split up to-do lists. You’re notified when someone accepts a task and also when he or she completes it. And if you’re planning an event for which you aren’t footing the bill, PitchIn sends automatic payment reminders to guests, and they can send you money directly from the app.

Pepperplate

3

Pepperplate is an application which deals solely with the refreshments aspect of the party. Manage recipes, create menus, plan meals, share recipes and make shopping lists — all from this one app. Import your favorite online recipes or save those recipes from your old cookbooks, and use them to plan a personalized three-course meal.

Pepperplate generates its own shopping list and can scale recipes. Adding items to your shopping lists also automatically syncs it across devices. The app works in conjunction with the Pepperplate website, and works best as a meal organizer — that is, to help you organize what you need a week or month before the big day.

Party Mixer

4

Party Mixer has slowly become a very popular party planning application. It enables users to have a definite playlist for the party. All that needs to be done is that the necessary songs need to be added into a playlist and then the app takes over. Its AutoDJ mode plays the music on its own and there is not a constant need to keep changing songs or haggling over appropriate party music.

Mobile Upgrades: Killing The Product Before Its Time?

Have to agree. The speed of newer phone models within the same series and newer app versions lead to more thought put into buying decisions. Phone lines have a definite short shelf life

Lionel Gurjao

Frequently upgrading the software is a real problem as updating the software might cause your phone to lag because of the older hardware.

They should come out with upgrades for the specific phones and not for the separate Operating System. This way a special version for your phones specific hardware can be made
