Apps Which Can Make Getting Organised Easier

The new era of science and technology has brought with itself a new era of fast paced and seemingly restless life. The hustle and bustle of daily life has brought about a conscious need to get organised and maintain a systematic, orderly and well-constructed routine. Like most problems nowadays, applications have come to the rescue once again and are a brilliant way of doing the same.

This application has a very reassuring tagline: “Never miss anything”. This application ensures that the user will remain so organised that he/she never misses any appointment, meeting etc. EasilyDo, available free for Android and iOS, connects with the user’s calendar, email, and social networks to bring all of that information to one place. It starts maintaining a database and sort of diary of all the user’s commitments and events. Later on, the application will send timely reminders to the user, reminding them to attend meetings or other appointments.

It even manages contacts in helpful ways, such as matching profile pictures with contacts and merging duplicates. The user interface is very easy to use and convenient. The Premium version of the application is a paid version, but at a very affordable rate and with various benefits as well.

Various applications are well-equipped to handle tasks, appointments and commitments on a micro level. However, projects and tasks on a more macro level need managing as well and this is where OmniFocus comes in. It is made specifically for that purpose and is extremely efficient in the task of macro-management and manages to keep the user updated about various deadlines and tasks which need completion.

OmniFocus is based on David Allen’s GTD (Getting Things Done) system, which involves capturing the list of things you need to do, processing those items, organizing them, and then completing them. It’s easier than it may sound, and OmniFocus can make it even easier, even though this full-featured app may be overwhelming at first.

This application has gradually becoming a favourite among users and is famous for its file sharing provisions. Dropbox is the ideal place to collect, store and share any and all files, whether they are actually important or not. This comes in great use when attending important meetings or making important presentations. Dropbox ensures that the files are easy to access and open as well, saving a lot of time and paperwork also. A whole eco-system of apps also has developed around Dropbox, which make this extremely useful app even more so, by adding extra security, music playback features, and more.

4This application has gained a lot of importance recently as it helps users with a very important aspect of their life, remembering passwords. This app ensures that users do not have to remember passwords to each and every one of their accounts on various social networking, work-related or other account-based websites. It provides a systematic process of entering and remembering passwords and if the user is willing to pay a certain amount of money, it also syncs all the accounts together.

Mobile Upgrades: Killing The Product Before Its Time?

Have to agree. The speed of newer phone models within the same series and newer app versions lead to more thought put into buying decisions. Phone lines have a definite short shelf life

Lionel Gurjao

Frequently upgrading the software is a real problem as updating the software might cause your phone to lag because of the older hardware.

They should come out with upgrades for the specific phones and not for the separate Operating System. This way a special version for your phones specific hardware can be made
