Pixel, Google’s first exclusive smartphone was undeniably successful, with many calling it the top rated phone of last year. Here is a round-up of all the rumours afoot about the next possible Google smartphone.

According to claims by a reliable source connected to Google, the Pixel 2 smartphone will focus heavily on offering an improved camera. While we certainly saw a stunning camera with the first Pixel phone, the new upcoming device is predicted to offer better low-light image capturing. This is a feature that has particularly been highlighted by companies like Samsung and Apple in recent times.

The Google Pixel and Pixel XL, already offer an excellent ability to shoot crisp photographs even in low-light conditions. It is no wonder that the smartphones were among the highest rated camera phones ever released.

Aside from this, a number of other upgrades are expected like a greater resistance to water and a far more powerful processor. Also rumoured to be in the works at Google, is a budget-friendly version of the smartphone that is currently being dubbed as the Pixel 2B. Targeted at those countries which are still developing, this device will most likely offer similar features to the Pixel 2, save for the screen size and the dual camera lens.

The media reports surrounding this alleged new device all come with disclaimers that do not take any responsibility for the accuracy of the specifications. While any such device is still in the early stages of its development, we suggest that users wait a little longer before they make any plans to purchase or even save up for the upcoming Pixel phone.
