Budget Friendly With a Quality Screen: Intex Aqua Amaze+

Intex, a rising Indian smartphone manufacturer recently debuted the Aqua Amaze+.

The new device is the latest addition by the company to their line of budget-friendly smartphones. Here is a peek at all the specifications that one can expect from a phone that is priced well below Rs. 10,000.

Fitted with a HD IPS touchscreen display of 4.7 inches, the Aqua Amaze+ has a screen resolution of 1280 pixels by 720 pixels. While this may not offer a visually stunning experience, users can still enjoy watching high-quality videos.

The Aqua Amaze+ is powered by a Spreadtrum SC9832A quad-core processor that clocks a speed of 1.3GHz and a RAM of 1GB. This is unfortunately not sufficient to perform numerous tasks simultaneously. However using apps like the camera or internet browsing, one at a time should not pose any issues.

In terms of the camera, Intex’s new budget smartphone features a primary camera of 5MP, placed on the rear. This has an auto-focus ability as well as a flash to help capture clear images and videos. For those who are also looking for a phone that is suitable for taking selfies, the Aqua Amaze+ has an additional front camera that is also of 5MP and has a flash.

Powering this device is a li-Ion battery that has a capacity of 200mAh and offers about a day’s worth of battery life, or about 18 hours when making calls. This phone has an inbuilt storage capacity of only 8GB. This is enough for those who wish to store apps, music, videos, a few light games and images. However, for those who do require more space, the memory of this smartphone can be expanded up to 64GB by using an external microSD card.

The Intex Aqua Amaze+ is being offered with Android v6.0 Marshmallow pre-installed. There are also a number of Value Added Services that come with the phone. The pre-installed apps includes ‘LFTY’ (an ease-of-access app for left-handed people), GamePlay (a gaming app that suggests the best video games) and VdioPlay (a video app that allows users to view free premium videos).

The Aqua Amaze+ is a dual SIM smartphone that offers a number of connectivity options including, GPS, Wi-Fi, USB OTG, Bluetooth, 3G, 4G and even FM radio. There are also several sensors such as an Accelerometer, an Ambient Light sensor and a Proximity sensor.

The Intex Aqua Amaze+ is priced at approximately Rs. 6,300 and is available in black, blue or grey. For those looking for a smartphone with a good quality screen and a pocket-friendly price, this is a phone to consider.

Frequently upgrading the software is a real problem as updating the software might cause your phone to lag because of the older hardware.
