Clash Of Clans 2016 Update
Looks like the fans of Clash of Clans will have much to cheer about in the coming days. Developer Supercell is all set to release a new update of the hit mobile game. And it’s not going to be a simple update. If rumours are to be believed, it’ll be a massive one. From various cool and hefty features to the in-game improvements and balance, Clash of Clans is slated for a major overhaul.
The last update to Clash of Clans happened in May this year, following which, fans saw introduction of various new characters in the battle. These included baby dragons, a group of skeletons, new miners, and a cloning spell for adding troops to the battle. The update also fixed the crashes the game experienced before. Some bugs and glitches were also fixed, along with some changes to the layout.
So what’s there in store now for enthusiasts of Clash of Clans MMO strategy game?
First off, Supercell announced the Clash of Clans 2016 update on its official forum, and it came as a surprise for the fans of the game. While it didn’t entirely reveal the specifications, the update is expected to be released sometime in September. Supercell has hinted that the update will leave fans even more surprised because it’s going to be unlike anything the company released in the past.
One of the most important goals of the upcoming Clash of Clans 2016 update is to forge a balance in the game. And expectedly, it’s going to affect most of the units in the title. Supercell, basically, doesn’t want to make a unit too strong or weak. The developer, at the same time, iterated that this was something that the Clash of Clans fans have been demanding for a long time. Expect relevant changes to be incorporated when the update finally arrives.
The studio further revealed that the Clash of Clans 2016 update will give gamers an opportunity to mine gems for free. This would enable them to bolster their ranks and make it to the top of the list. Supercell, however, has not yet revealed what type of feature that will be. It has also not disclosed the whatnot’s of the game.
But, as revealed on the official Clash of Clans forum site, the update would significantly change the chances of in-game spells. These are likely to cover the Lightning, Earthquake, and Poison spells, among others. Bolts in the Lightning spell would be much closer now, leading to more damage to the targets. The Earthquake spell, on the other hand, will now cause a fixed damage. It would be based upon the HP left. And last of all, the damage rate caused by the Poison spell, will now start at a far lower DPS but will increase with time.
