Evernote Gets A New Look

Evernote has always been a favourite app for those who like to keep things organised. The app has been recently redesigned for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch, keeping speed and easiness in mind, saving you loads of time to ideate and less of it to organise and search for them. So, say hello to Evernote 8.0, supposedly the most elegantly designed app for iOS ever. At least, that’s what the Evernote team believes. Keeping your feature requests in mind, the app was re-imagined and has now been embedded.

Overall Navigation

First thing noticeable in the new Evernote is the new enhanced navigation structure to help you access your notes quicker. The home screen is removed so that you could get immediate access to your recent updated notes or begin to work from where you left off without any extra taps.

Fresh New Look

The app has got a fresh new look. Your note list will now look uncluttered helping you to scan through your notes more swiftly. Evernote admirers will also love the way Evernote 8.0 makes it effortless to hobble in and out of notebooks to get notes. You have to simply tap the notebook selector above any note list to hop onto another notebook.

Ardent fan of adding reminders? If yes, you would love this. Evernote 8.0 is now integrated with two new search features. If you quickly tap on the alarm, located at the top of any note list, it will bring up all the notes for which reminders are set up. There is also a tag button located at the top of any note list to look through notes associated with particular tags to help you to select them in order for you to filter.

New Colours and Styles

It’s true that plain black text is boring at times. But Evernote 8.0 has taken care of it by offering you more ways to prettify your text. You can use different colours and sizes to create headers and sub-headers and make key points, or make it easier to count your data. The app is offering you different pre-defined text colours and font sizes for you to choose from.

What’s new for Evernote Business Customers?

Business customers, who count on Evernote both personally and professionally would certainly like a better division between personal and business notes; shortcuts, notebooks and saved searches. This way, you won’t involuntarily save makeup tips on your company’s marketing team notebook and your company meeting notes won’t get mixed with your vacation planning notebook. It is now easier to switch between your personal and business accounts – you just need to long-press ‘Account’ on the tab bar to shift to another account.

Pretty cool and easy, right? Well, once you lay your eyes on the new Evernote 8.0 app, you’ll definitely agree that this, indeed, is the best version of the Evernote iOS app. Try it today and see for yourself – you will fall for the simple, fast and well-designed Evernote experience!
