Using the artificial intelligence bot for devices which support it, Google Assistant will now be able to make digital payments. With users grasping Internet of Things all the more today, Google grabbed the perfect opportunity to enter this market. As of now, more than 50 national and local Google Express Retailers provide shopping support.Digital Payments

Google’s Android app’s latest beta version which has the written programs for the APK, provides a hint that Google Assistant will allow users to make direct automatic payments. Since the feature has not started working yet we are still not clear about the functioning.

This feature has already appeared in the Assistant settings on the Google Pixel phones without any requirements of a Google app update, Google has also announced that this feature will not only be available on Google Pixel phone but also on Google Home, which allows other android users to access this feature.

Google claims from 30th April onwards, one need not worry about additional services or subscription fees while shopping via Google Home which is an amazing thing. There are surely going to be improvements in this feature over a period of time as well as provision of support for other apps.

After opening the digital payment setting on Google Assistant, a tutorial that explains you how to set up payment and delivery information for purchases appears. After the tutorial, you need to sign up for payments by adding your credit/ debit card and address details which are needed for online payments via Google Assistant in the Google Home app and also choose additional devices, like the Google Home speaker, that can also access your financial information in order to pay for things. After completing this procedure you can start shopping by asking “Ok Google, how do I shop?” or “Ok Google, order pens.”

Google plans to introduce the option of paying for products and services with the help of Assistant very soon. This new feature will improvise the way we pay for our online orders and also make Assistant even more useful.

Have to agree. The speed of newer phone models within the same series and newer app versions lead to more thought put into buying decisions. Phone lines have a definite short shelf life

Frequently upgrading the software is a real problem as updating the software might cause your phone to lag because of the older hardware.

They should come out with upgrades for the specific phones and not for the separate Operating System. This way a special version for your phones specific hardware can be made
