Huawei Watch 2 & Watch 2 Classic Announced

The Huawei Watch has been known as one of the few brilliant watches in the Android Wear world.

It has also been crowned as the top watch of 2016. Upgrading the series, Huawei announced the Huawei Watch 2 and Watch 2 Classic at Mobile World Congress, 2017. Using the latest results from the research and developments in technology, Huawei Watch 2 and Watch 2 Classic are a good combination of Connectivity of a smartphone, Applications of a smartwatch and Fitness tracking provision of popular fitness bands.

With technology entering our lives from every nook and corner today, the Huawei watch 2 and watch 2 Classic are devices specially designed for people who are constantly on-the-go and cannot be cemented to their smartphones all the time. The watch has a Qualcomm Snapdragon system with a 2100 processor and comes with 4G Connectivity which allows the users to send messages and make calls through the watch itself. The watch is compatible with recent smart applications as well. Along with compatibility with cellular networks, the watch runs on the new Android Wear which assures connectivity for Android as well as iOS users.

The watch also provides touch control, intelligent speech recognition and voice instructions which adds to the user convenience and better usage experience. Adding to that, the watch can also be used to make easy and safe payments by simply downloading the Android PayTM app and using the technology that is available on the watch. The battery is also advanced and claims to have a long life and compactness. If the watch is used on a regular basis the battery can last for about two days. In ‘Training Mode’, it can last for nearly 10 hours and if used in “Watch Mode” the battery can last for as long as three weeks.

The Watch 2 is a casual version which has a rubberized band & ring around the screen. It is available in various colours like orange & black. As an upgrade to the current version, the Watch 2 has Bluetooth, Wi-Fi as well as 4G Connectivity. On the other hand, the Watch 2 Classic is slightly different from the original Huawei Watch when it comes to design. Instead of the sleek and smooth edges the Watch 2 Classic looks more like a universal watch.

Both the watches are now available in the China, Germany, Italy, Portugal, France and Spain Markets for €329 and will be available from the month of April in the U.S., UK, Russia and Australia markets.

Have to agree. The speed of newer phone models within the same series and newer app versions lead to more thought put into buying decisions. Phone lines have a definite short shelf life
