Innovative Features On the New OnePlus 2

The all new OnePlus 2 is launched and is at its best spellbinding people along with the symbolic variety of specs that can face and beat all the high end phones in the market.

Ever since OnePlus announced its latest flagship device, there were abundantgossips in the air as to what new features the phone will be the smartphone have.

It is well known that OnePlus and its previous OS provider Cyanogenmod had a break up, sothe Chinese Smartphone maker has introduced Oxygen OS in place. The first version of the OS was released as an update for OnePlus One and since the time it was announced people were eager to know as to what the new OS has in store. And with the present OnePlus 2, which runs on second version of Oxygen OS, there’s aninterest hasbuilt up again as to what the changes in the OS are and how it is better than others.

The Shelf

The Shelf is an all new home panel which accommodates the recent and frequently used apps and contacts. This brand new section is still in the beta version which permits changes and makes it better. You can add more widgets and apps to the list that is needed frequently.

Instant unlock using the fingerprint scanner

Unlike OnePlus One, the latest flagship has fingerprint sensor placed in an oval button and it saves to five fingerprints. OnePlus has even declaredthat the fingerprint sensor is superiorto the one on Apple’s iPhone 6. Unlike the iPhone6, the screen does not light up, but the instant you place your fingerprint the home screen gets unlocked.

Configurable capacitive keys

The OnePlus 2 has three capacitive keys which can be personalized to the maximum. There is the middle key that is like an oval physical key but it does not function like the key asit houses the fingerprint sensor for security. The two dashes at the either side of the oval key are the capacitive keys whose function can be personalized from a list of options. In case you are not a fan of capacitive keys then you can deactivate them and use the touch interface.

Iconpacks

Personalization is the ground where Android thrives on, its users have the flexibility to alter or change any feature to their wish. Some users take a step further by installing launchers to give their phone a new look with the latest icon style and more themes. But more often the launchers are not well-matched and the icons look wrong and out of normal. OnePlus 2, has announced three pre-installed icon packs from which you can change your phone to something new and better.

Customize LED notification colors

OnePlus 2 allows you to modify the color of LED notifications so they can be set as the way you want, as for red signifying missed calls, green for new messages and blue for something of your choice. This way you can be mindful as to what is happening with that phone of yours without even unlocking it.
