iPhone Hacks That Will Change Your Life

Apple came up with the most life changing technology in the world. Known for its awesome operating system iOS, iPhone has become a part of our daily lives. It has helped to smoothen your tasks, help you to connect effectively as well as entertain you. However there are some hack in the iPhone that will help you to access lot of features on it faster.

Quicker charging of iPhone

To charge your iPhone 6 or 6 Plus, use the charger of an iPad. It charges it super-fast compared to the regular charger. Just ensure you use it for shorter duration as your phone will not get damaged by the powerful adapter.

Delete old messages

Deleting older messages is cumbersome task. It’s very irritating to scroll through individual messages and then delete. To do away with this, change your settings so that it automatically deletes it after few days of reading. Go to settings-then Keep Messages-choose from 30 days-1 year or forever.

Create more storage space

Your photos and videos end up taking lot of storage space on your phone. To make more space on your phone convert all your photos and videos in to low resolution files and save the original ones on your iCloud account. Go settings-Photos & Camera-Enable iCloud Photo Library-Optimise iPhone Storage.

Save Battery

To prevent battery of your phone from draining out quickly, dim the brightness of the screen. Go to settings-General- Accessibility-Turn on Greyscale.

Create strong passwords

We always want to safeguard our personal information and prevention always helps. To protect the data on your iPhone create complex passcode. It will stop hackers from getting access to it. Go to Settings-Touch ID & Passcode-Disable Simple Passcode.

Disable location tracking

Your location can easily be tracked if your location feature is active. At times this can put you in trouble as the information can be misused. To turn it off go to Settings-Privacy-Location Services-System Services-Turn Off Frequent Locations.

Quick access to Favourites

Instead of accessing your favourite or frequently visited websites on Safari, you can pin it on your home screen. To activate this feature, tap on the Export icon which is at the bottom of the screen and select Add to Home Screen option. This is a quicker way to take you directly to the web site.

Activate flash alerts

There are times when you do not want the phone to disturb you. It could be when you are in an important meeting or at the movie theatre. You do not want the audible notifications to disturb you. To counter this problem go to Settings-General-Accessibility and activate LED Flash for alerts.

Clear history

If you just want to clear only a part of your browsing history, iOS 8 does offer you that feature. This way you do not have to clear your entire history. Go to Safari, tap the book icon and select History. It will display all the pages you visited and you can manually delete what you want. Also you can choose from Last Hour, Today and Yesterday, Today or All History.
