Lechal Smart Insoles Review: A New Way To Track Yourself

From smart t-shirts to wristbands, there are a range of products designed to keep a heath check. Another such device which is said to be the world’s first haptic based interactive footwear has been launched by Ducere Technologies called ‘Lechal’
It’s a pair of rectangular pods that go inside your shoes. They’re approximately the size of a watch dial. They can be either slipped into your insoles or buckles. Another option are the insoles by Lechal. They come inbuilt with the pod but are thicker than regular insoles. Replacing a regular insole with these may be uncomfortable.
The device tracks your footsteps, calories burnt and even help you navigate. The navigation feature is inspired by a device that was created to assist the visually impaired move in the right direction. The pods are connected to the Lechal app that allows you to configure the pods as per the leg or shoe type based on its utility. This helps you keeps track of your body movements and calories.
Other than the health tracking that the device helps with, it is also very convenient to use. As it monitors your activity, you will never even realise its presence once slipped on. The device is pretty accurate in terms of measurement. The navigation tools works in a manner where the shoe vibrates for whichever side you need to turn.
The device comes with a superb battery life. It runs for almost a week on just a single charge. And charging the device isn’t much of a hassle either. If you’re on the lookout for a device that saves you the effort of keeping track of your bodily movement and calories burnt, the Lechal is what you should go for.
