LeEco Liveman C1 – The 4K Action-Camera

LeEco has been a leader when it comes to diversifying their product line – from internet services to autonomous cars. The company has recently announced its first action camera in the form of ‘Liveman C1′ which can only record 4K videos up to 30fps. It has recently been unveiled in China.

The action camera has a G-sensor to support automatic video recording during any movement with the 16-megapixel sensor and a 140 degree wide-angle lens. Liveman C1 camera comes ready with a waterproof case which lets you shoot at up to 40 metres under water. Weighing just 67gms, it would take a centre stage for travellers and bloggers and people who simply likely to have the convenience of shooting videos hassle-free.

Sporting a 1.8-inch TFT display, Liveman C1 houses a 1050mAh battery, a microSD slot and a Micro-HDMI port. Unboxing it, you would find two self-adhesive mounts, extensions, a USB wire for data transfer and GoPro style mounts. The camera can shoot 720p at 30 FPS with its live resolution. The mobile app of the camera can be used as a Wi-Fi remote and can be used at a distance of upto 20 meters. The camera measures at 52 x 40 x 26 mm. For better connectivity between devices there is built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.

Bearing a price tag of 1499 Yuan (US$ 216 / Rs. 14755 approx), LeEco Liveman C1 is available in only a black colour variant. If you are buying this action camera, you have to get a memory card separately as you won’t receive a standard one while purchasing the new device. This is one of the best action cameras to fit your budget. The interested buyers can now buy this action camera from LeMall’s official website in China.

The action camera market is, at present swarming with some really great devices from companies like Garmin, Sony, GoPro and others. LeEco’s Liveman C1 misses out on the facility to capture video at 60fps (at 1080p), which is provided by the likes of Garmin, with its Virb ultra 30 action camera.
