Mid-Range iPad Pro 10.5-Inch Getting Launched?

iPad

Apple is said to be releasing a new iPad pro which will serve as the middle sibling between the standard sized model and the largest variant. The 10.5 inch iPad Pro will be the new entrant in the iPad space. As of now, the exact details are not known, but there is enough information for hearts of Apple users to flutter. However, there are several rumours surrounding the actual specifications of the new kid-on-the-block, but in all possibility the release date could fall anywhere between March – April. This would not only make the wait longer, but you will have to wait for all the specifications. From all the rumours floating around, it seems to be a safe bet.

The display size will be between the current 9.7 inch iPad Pro and its big brother the 12.9 inch variant.  Even though the device is touted to be 10.5 inch, it will still measure similar to the 9.7 inch iPad as the bezel will be smaller, so the actual size will remain unchanged.

The 10.5 inch iPad pro will be equipped with a 2224X1668 display with very slim grooves along with a pixel density of 264 pixels per inch, which is similar to the current 9.7 inch iPad Pro. Since the slate will remain relatively unchanged, this will allow you to use the same accessories, including the existing smart keyboard.

This move by Apple is a great step because the 9.7 inch display was a little small and the frame size on the 12.9 inch is too big. The increased surface area and sharpness is ideal for the creative types, as it looks and feels the same, but performs better.

The design change and the addition of a smaller bezel is just not to improve the looks but to enhance your experience. Also, the True Tone display which made its presence felt with the iPad Pro 9.7 will witness a comeback with this variant too. The True Tone display enables your tablet to alter the screen’s colour temperature depending on the lighting in your surroundings which helps you to view the image properly without any strain on the eyes.

For now, there is no official price that has been declared. To push the product, Apple may lower the price of the existing 9.7 inch model and sell the new model at the price of the 9.7 inch model.

So until the brand makes an official announcement, all the information is hearsay. However, keep your eyes open, Apple could introduce the device anytime.
