One Plus 4 Preview

OnePlus is one of the few and new Smartphone companies which have been able to make its presence felt in the market very quickly with all three models – OnePlus One, OnePlus 2, and OnePlus 3. It is now ready and likely to make the same impact with the new OnePlus 4. With the current specifications of the OnePlus 3, it will be interesting to know what specifications the company would offer in the OnePlus 4.

The screen size is not expected to change and will remain at 5.5 inches with a 4k display. As for the hardware, the phone will be incorporated with an 8GB RAM and will offer the latest Qualcomm snapdragon processor. The internal memory of the phone variants are from 32/64/128 GB and run on OxygenOS which could be found in the previous versions of the phone.

The colour variation of the OnePlus 4 will be same as the previous versions of the phones which include Graphite and soft gold colour. However, both of these are good-looking phones and thus you will be pleased with either of them. Other changes may include a dual SIM, wireless charging, an increase in the battery size which could be 4200 mAh Li-on battery with the phone thus making it a prefect piece and almost a top contender for a perfect smartphone.

The primary camera of the phone is rumoured to be around 24MP and the front shooter camera at 8MP. Both come with flash and added features that would improve the class of the picture. OnePlus 4 could also be a little thicker compared to it predecessor.

The One Plus 3 has been launched not very long ago and it has done a great job in the mobile market due to its higher specifications at affordable prices. The company clearly takes customer reviews seriously and therefore since its launch, the company has made a lot of improvements wherever it was possible to catch people’s attention. This time too, the company is expected to deal the same way with OnePlus 4.

OnePlus 4 is expected to be launched by the middle of 2017 together with other high end smartphones and thus making it tough for the company to compete with flagship phones from Samsung, Sony, LG and other brands as well. Most of the OnePlus users are happy with the current design of the phone and thus don’t expect any major changes to the design. Rumours have it that the high ranged smartphones may have a foldable display but that may be just a rumour.

Looking at the price of its predecessor, OnePlus 4 may cost you around $500 in the international market. While the price in India could be estimated around Rs. 33,999 (although there is no official news about the price till now), we will update you as soon as it is officially declared.

Frequently upgrading the software is a real problem as updating the software might cause your phone to lag because of the older hardware.
