Panasonic Toughbook CF-33 Rugged 2-In-1 Laptop Launched
At the Mobile World Congress 2017, Panasonic launched its new rugged convertible laptop- The Toughbook CF-33.
With a 3:2 screen aspect ratio and a 12 inch display; it comes with 2-in-1 utility with a tablet and detachable keyboard. The laptop is also available in a tablet-only version. The laptop runs on Windows 10 or Windows 7 Professional operating systems.
The Toughbook CF- 33 comes with an amazing set of features. The display is anti-reflective high brightness (1200 nits) with a 1440 x 2160 pixel screen resolution. Along with that, it is powered by an Intel Core i5-7300U vPro processor with 256 GB internal storage and an 8GB RAM ensuring high speed processing of data.
To increase user accuracy and convenience while writing, working or signing on the laptop, the Toughbook CF- 33 comes with an IP55 digitizer pen that is designed to work with Windows Ink workspace apps. Speaking of connectivity, the 2-in 1 laptop has two USB 3.0, USB 2.0, LAN, Serial, HDMI, SDXC and VGA ports. Additionally, it comes with an 8 megapixel rear camera and a 2 megapixel webcam for video chatting/calling. The battery life offered is high as it has twin hot-swappable batteries.
The laptop has been designed specifically for rugged use thus it can be used even under bad weather conditions like heavy rains or bright sunlight. Thus it caters to the police, emergency services, defence, government agencies and maintenance & service technicians in the telecom field. The laptop has also been rated IP65 for dust and water resistance and weighs about 2.76 kgs when the keyboard is attached & 1.53 kgs without the keyboard attached.
All these features come at a hefty price too. It is priced at approximately $4,099 (Rs. 2,73,500) or EUR 3,552 (Rs. 2,51,000) and is said to markets in May 2017.
