Phones With The Longest Battery Life

Big screens, super fast processors and powerful apps are what we always look for but for all this, a powerful battery is required. After all, what good is that powerful camera if your handset drains out before the day has just begun?

See for yourself which smartphones have the most powerful battery.

iPhone 6 Plus

The 5.5-inch iPhone 6 Plus is Apple’s biggest phone, but also the longest lasting battery, offering 10 hours of survival. It beats the iPhone 6 by 2.5 hours. Add in the dynamic A8 processor, an incredible camera with optical image steadiness and a sexy design, and you have got one of the best big-screen phones, period.

Motorola Droid Turbo

In the Motorola Droid Turbo’s name says it all, it promises to deliver 8 hours of battery life and gets charged in 15 minutes. But you probably won’t need to carry the charger with you, as this phone will survive for a remarkable 9 hours and 30 minutes. Other highlights include a sturdy design, speedy performance and a vibrant quad-HD display.

Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge

The curved, dual-edge display will have you craving for this stunning smartphone. But the 5.1-inch Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge’s 8 hours and 57 minutes of battery life is another good reason to choose this handset. The S6 Edge is also the fastest phone yet, beating out the iPhone 6 and HTC One M9 in overall performance benchmarks. An awesome camera, with an enhanced fingerprint sensor and wireless charging, makes up the resume of this phone.

Motorola Moto G

It’s not just the Moto G’s battery life that will impress you: Inside this water-resistant, unlocked phone is a 13MP camera, Gorilla Glass 3 screen and multitude of useful apps, such as Moto Assist and Google Now. Plus, you can alter the Moto G’s look through the Moto Maker website.

Samsung Galaxy S5

The S5 may not be the latest Galaxy smartphone, but if battery life is vital to you, this is the phone you should get. With 9 hours and 42 minutes of battery life, you will get through a full day. Or you could put the phone into Ultra Power Savings Mode, which will restricts app usage, disables Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, and deactivates mobile data when the screen is off. Plus, unlike the Galaxy S6, you can even exchange the battery or swap for a fresh one.

OnePlus One

The OnePlus One is one of the best Android phones anywhere, chiefly if you take into account the 5.5-inch, 1920 x 1080-pixel display inside an awesome design with a 13-megapixel camera. The CyanogenMod interface is also interestingly slick. But it’s the 13 hours and 16 minutes of battery life that steals the show.

Huawei Ascend Mate 2

Huawei’s 6.1-inch Ascend Mate 2 4G LTE offers a lively, 6.1-inch display and nearly 15 hours of battery life. Thanks to the huge 4,050 mAh battery. This Android smartphone even acts as a device charger, assuming you have microUSB-to-microUSB cable. Overall, we found the phone to be relatively quick and awesome.
