CEO and President of Polaroid, Scott W. Hardy said, “Polaroid is celebrating its 80th anniversary in 2017 and we could not think of a better way to kick-off this milestone year than with the debut of the Polaroid Pop instant digital camera at CES 2017.”

This new instant camera offers a digital camera experience that is traditional, despite its modern technology. It is fitted with a 20MP CMOS sensor, a dual LED flash, image stabilization and 1080p video recording ability. The Polaroid Pop can store images and videos of up to 128GB, using a microSD card.

With a user-friendly navigation, the instant camera is easy to connect to Bluetooth and WiFi. Users can even edit their images through the Polaroid print app which has a wide selection of editing functions. The camera has a number of colour modes, including black and white, vintage sepia and colour.

Similar to the Polaroid Snap Touch and the Polaroid Snap instant digital cameras, the Polaroid Pop camera has an integrated printer that uses the ZINK® Zero Ink Printing Technology. This technology allows users to immediately print a full colour image in the classic 3×4” format with the Classic Polaroid Border and logo. The end result is a 3.5×4.25 inch print.

The ink-free Zero Ink® printing tech is a revolutionary product that is developed by ZINK. The special printer which is ZINK-enabled, makes use of heat to activate and colorize the magenta, cyan and yellow dye crystals which are embedded in the paper. The final product is a full-colour image of a high quality that is not only long-lasting, but also smudge-proof! This is all without using any ink cartridge, toner or ribbons!

The photos print in less than a minute so that users can immediately share their photos with others. In addition to this, the photos can also be used like a sticker as the ZINK Paper® has an adhesive backing.

Have to agree. The speed of newer phone models within the same series and newer app versions lead to more thought put into buying decisions. Phone lines have a definite short shelf life

Frequently upgrading the software is a real problem as updating the software might cause your phone to lag because of the older hardware.

They should come out with upgrades for the specific phones and not for the separate Operating System. This way a special version for your phones specific hardware can be made
