Power Rangers: Legacy Wars Releases In March 2017

The Power Rangers, a beloved childhood TV show that was well-known by everyone in the 1990’s, is back yet again!

This time, the live-action superhero show is taking the form of a mobile video game, known as Power Rangers: Legacy Wars. Set to release along with the movie in March 2017, the game will be available for both the Android and iOS platforms.

The new Power Rangers video game is said to have a focus on multiplayer fighting gameplay. Legacy Wars will feature all the characters from the original television series and also revamped versions of each character according to how they appear in the new franchise movie.

While the trailer has not revealed a lot, it does offer fans of Power Rangers exciting hints for what to expect from the game. Players will have to battle it out as they take on a variety of characters that hail from the Power Rangers: Legacy Wars universe.

According to Taehoon Kim, the CEO of the company nWay who developed the new Power Rangers: Legacy Wars said that the new addition “will be a game of many firsts for the expansive Power Rangers universe”.

Taehoon Kim claims that the vast experience of his company nWay in creating gaming networks that are player vs player focused, has helped to build the new multiplayer Power Rangers action game.

CEO of Saban Brands, Janet Hsu stated that the new Power Rangers: Legacy Wars will offer fans across over the globe an all new gaming experience that has never been seen before from the franchise. The game which is anticipated to be gripping, will bring together the best of the Power Ranger’s legacy so far.

The game is expected to be available for free download, however remains unconfirmed. For all those who can’t hold their excitement until the last week of March, check out the teaser for the game on the Saban Brands’ website in the meanwhile.
