Smartphones To Be Launched In 2016

With the rising cost of technology, users are now wary of choosing the right smartphone for themselves, as it might be a heavy and one-time investment. Some smartphones are worth waiting for, and there are some stunners coming in 2016. Buyers can expect a wide array of options, ranging from Samsung flagships to Apple iPhones. HTC and LG are other big names to look out for, which will make 2016 a year to remember for the mobile phone market.

Apple iPhone 7

Apple is a very famous name in the smartphone market. The iPhone 7 will be Apple’s brand-new flagship phone for 2016, and following tradition, it should be announced in September. We’ve already seen rumours that the new iPhone will feature big design changes, with an all-new D-jack headphone jack, waterproofing protection and an e-SIM as well. These are exciting buyers even more and people can no longer wait for the phone to be introduced in the market. The phone may also come equipped with a sidewall display, making it look more stylish.

Apple is known to charge high prices for its new phones but this will not be a deterrent for most loyalists of the brand. Rumours suggest that the new flagship will cost between Rs. 60,000-65,000.

Samsung Galaxy S7

Not to be left far behind, Samsung will launch its new flagship Galaxy S7 in 2016 to rival the iPhone. It will be packed with Android 6.0 and have a 5.2 inch super AMOLED screen, having full HD display. It will come with a retina scanner and also have a 20 megapixel rear camera, thus keeping up the tradition of brilliant cameras offered by Samsung.

The phone will come packed with 6 or 8GB of RAM and is rumoured to be costing around Rs. 70,000.

HTC One M10

The HTC One M10 is an eagerly awaited phone as well, which promises to take the market by storm in 2016. It will come armoured with a 5.0 inch 1080p high-resolution screen. It is rumoured that the phone might be waterproof, either for splashes or submersible for long periods as well.

The phone will have a 27 megapixel rear camera and a fingerprint scanner as well. The scanner will help with making the phone more secure for the users. It will come with 64 or 128 GB options.

LG G5

LG has only recently fully introduced the G4 in the markets but the company has assured the public that they are diligently at work with the G5 already. It will come with a smart eye scanner. The phone will be powered by 4 or 5 GB of RAM and will have a rear camera of 21 megapixels which will comfortably take 4K images. It will come with a 5.6 inch OLED Screen.

The new LG G5 is thought to have a larger-capacity battery – perhaps up to 4000mAh – and the company is expected to retain the ability to remove- and also wirelessly charge the battery. The smartphone market has various new entries lined up for 2016 and none will disappoint.
