Smartphones With Finger Print Scanners
Does this come across as strange to you? Well it may seem so at the beginning but this is a superb technology that is surely but surely attacking the password protection system that claims to protect our cell phones. What this means that our phones can only be unlocked after it recognizes our finger prints. Isn’t that absolutely cool? Though this system has been in existence over some time, it is only very recently that it has become effective. Excited? Here’s a list of modern day smart phones that boast of this technology.
- Apple iPhone 5S, 6 and 6 plus
An iPhone is definitely right up there in the coolness quotient and the fingerprint sensor makes it even more awesome.6 and 6 plus both have finger print sensors. The 3D technology recognizes this irrespective of the finger orientation. What gives apple brownie points is that this technique can also be used for making payments.
2. Samsung Note 4, Note Edge, Galaxy S5, S6 and S6 edge Well the Samsung guys are not far behind when it comes to the new finger print reading technology. The new models, Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge have these sensors and reviews say it is at par with the Apple iPhones. Samsung is also set to release the same feature for making payments. This one will lead to mark a tick against all the boxes in a check list. A phone with good features, is decently priced, high quality camera and everything you expect from a good android phone along with the 3D finger print scanner.
- HTC M9+ and HTC One Max
In HTC One max, sensor is located on the rear just below the camera. The M9+ has a revamped a much better finger print reading technology than the One max. Some have even rated it better than iPhone. The usp says that it works super-fast.
- Motorola Atrix
The phone is outdated alright, but if you want a low budget phone with finger print sensors than this has to be your choice.
- Huawei Ascend Mate 7
The finger print sensor n his phone as per tech experts is quick and one of the most accurate. Also you don’t have to swipe. Place the finger anywhere on the sensor and et voila, the phone is unlocked. An interesting feature in this phone is that, you can also lock individual apps with your finger prints. Now that’s what we call awesome.
