Useful Apps For Students

Student life can be hard, especially if you’re in college. Some students freelance or take up part time jobs while they study. Irrespective of that, thanks to these apps, students can now manage their life and complete their assignments in a better way!

Mathematics Alarmy (Sleep If You Can)

1

This has been rated as one of the most annoying apps and for good reason! If you’re someone who is forever snoozing their alarm and can’t wake up on time for classes, this app can actually be a saviour. This app works like a normal alarm clock, but the only difference is that you need to solve a math problem to dismiss it! Of course, this is going to be annoying, but it gets the work done and you won’t be late for class. Highly recommended for students, this app is going to make sure you start your day right!

Any.Do

2This is a planner app that helps you categorize the things you need to get done. You can also set reminders to ensure you complete the task. The review feature helps you organise your day better and keeps you prepared beforehand. And it’s not necessary to only use it as a to-do list app. You can also use it to make a list of places you want to go to, books you want to read etc. The interface is extremely user friendly and the colour scheme is very fresh making it a good app to have on your phone.

Dictionary.com

3

You’re reading a heavy document your teacher handed out in class, but you can’t figure out what those complex words mean! Well, fret not! You can easily look up the meaning of any word you come across using this app and also their synonyms. So whether you’re reading an essay or writing one, this app will make sure your language isn’t why your marks go down.

Easybib

4

This citation generator app is a life saver app for the ones who have to write essays and also include citations. If you have written these essays, you know how hard and important the bibliography part is. But once you start writing, it gets difficult to keep track of the citations. Now it’s much easier with this app. You can create them by scanning the bar code of the book using your camera and you can also use the search tool to look them up. You can switch between 7000 citation styles, with just the touch of a button!

My Study Life

5

This is a cross platform planner that helps students manage their study life better. It helps you keep your homework deadlines, your class schedule in one place, never to forget. Students often forget what classes they have and sometimes even their exam and assignment due dates. And it not only shows you, but also notifies you of unfinished tasks, making you all the more productive.
