Smartphones – our lifeline in today’s world – are constantly evolving and with it are our demands. A new smartphone launches into the market and our hearts desire to own it. Although, most of the times the price tag that comes with it, can be an obstacle in making it our own. Keeping in mind this general notion, here we have a list of smartphones which cost less than Rs. 30,000 and yet, have all the features one would want in a smartphone.

Samsung Galaxy A8 32GB (Dual Sim) – Rs. 25,000/-


The Samsung Galaxy A8 32GB phone has a 5.7 inch super AMOLED display that makes the colours on the screen look real. This HTC model, has a 13MP camera, which has the ability to click good quality pictures – whether indoor or outdoor, unlike the rest of the HTC phones. This smartphone has an extremely fast processor – Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 and posses 3GB RAM, which makes the phone work really fast. It comes with 32GB of internal storage and does not have an expandable memory card slot. Although, it has a 2150 mAh battery which helps it run about a day. Another quirky feature of this phone is that it has a fast as well as a responsive fingerprint sensor.

Oneplus 3 64GB (Dual Sim)


The Oneplus 3, which caused quite a rage in the markets when it was launched, can prove to be one of the best phones that don a sleek look, under the Rs. 30,000/- category. The back of this phone has a metal build and also fits perfectly in the hands, the size of the phone being 5.5 inches. The Oneplus 3, has really clear and audible speakers that are placed at the bottom of the phone. This phone has a fingerprint sensor which is placed on the front side of the phone and also doubles as the home button. This smartphone’s fingerprint sensor is the fastest compared to the rest of the phones and also has an ‘always-on’ feature for extra security and is priced at Rs. 28,000/-.

Mobile Upgrades: Killing The Product Before Its Time?

Have to agree. The speed of newer phone models within the same series and newer app versions lead to more thought put into buying decisions. Phone lines have a definite short shelf life

Frequently upgrading the software is a real problem as updating the software might cause your phone to lag because of the older hardware.
